Mod «[B42.20] The Long Dark Guns» for Project Zomboid

This mod adds an old .308 calibre bolt-action hunting rifle inspired by The Long Dark, designed to hunt deer and wolves. It features an internal magazine with a 10-round capacity and uses vanilla 7.62x51mm (.308) ammunition. The weapon does not accept attachments.

Five variants are included, each with distinct characteristics:

• Hunting Rifle: Standard variant
• Barb's Rifle: Heavier but more durable
• Bunker Rifle: Lighter and faster, but breaks quickly
• Curator's Rifle: Longer effective firing range
• Vaughn's Rifle: Lighter and faster, breaks quickly (though slower than the Bunker Rifle)

A Firearm Cleaning Kit is included, found alongside the rifles, and works exclusively on these weapons. Rifles spawn in locations similar to the vanilla Hunting Rifle but are slightly rarer. Some variants have theme-oriented spawn locations or increased spawn chances in specific areas.

The mod is mid-save safe, can be removed safely, and is compatible with Guns of Marz Firearms and other mods supporting vanilla-like firearms.
