Mod «Better Lockpicking (Continued) MP / SP 42.19+» for Project Zomboid

This mod is a continued version of Better Lockpicking, updated for Project Zomboid Build 42.19+. It introduces mechanics for breaking locks on doors, windows, and vehicles using bobbypins or crowbars through interactive mini-games.

• Adds a Lockpicking skill and perk, expanding the Burglar profession
• Includes an ignition-wire mini-game for hotwiring vehicles; ignition locks can also be picked with a bobbypin and screwdriver
• Allows players to check house and car alarms

Instructions:

• Alarms: Read the «Alarm for Dummies» magazine. Right-click windows or doors to check house alarms. Stand near a vehicle hood to check car alarms via the radial menu.
• Lockpicking: Read the «Lockpicking for Dummies» magazine. Right-click locked doors or windows to initiate lockpicking. Using a bobbypin requires a bobbypin and screwdriver; forcing a lock requires a crowbar. Match your Lockpicking skill to the lock difficulty. For vehicles, stand near the locked door and use the radial menu. The bobbypin mini-game involves finding the correct angle, while the crowbar mini-game requires timing spacebar presses.
• Ignition: Connect two matching wires in the ignition mini-game or pick the ignition lock with a bobbypin if skill level permits.
