Mod «Cedar Hill B41 & B42 Alpha» for Project Zomboid

Cedar Hill is a custom map mod for Project Zomboid, supporting both Build 41 and Build 42 Alpha. The B41 version is no longer receiving updates. The B42 version supports singleplayer and multiplayer, though NPC functionality is currently limited to singleplayer pending the stable release.

New updates may require starting a new game due to how Project Zomboid handles modded maps. Players are advised to set the «Randomized Building Chance» to «Never» in settings to prevent story areas from being damaged at game start. For optimal performance, setting «UI Rendering FPS» to 120 is recommended to avoid choppy UI elements.

Upon first subscription, enable the mod in the main menu and restart the game completely to ensure animated menus and spawn point paper maps load correctly.

Translations:

To enable translated NPC dialogue for non-English languages, navigate to Options > Mods and toggle «Use Translation UI». Available translations include Simplified Chinese and Czech.
