Mod «Realistic Suppressor System B42+MP» for Project Zomboid

Realistic Suppressor System B42 expands suppressor mechanics beyond sound replacement, introducing durability, heat management, smoke effects, and weapon-specific compatibility. Suppressors are treated as degradable equipment rather than permanent stat upgrades, requiring maintenance and eventual replacement.

Features:

• Multiple suppressor types: Pistol, Rifle, AK, Shotgun, Heavy Shotgun, and Improvised Oil Filter
• Dedicated models with weapon-specific positioning
• Individual suppressed firing sounds for pistols, SMGs, rifles, AK platforms, shotguns, sniper rifles, and revolvers
• Durability system: suppressors wear down with use and break when durability reaches zero
• Heat system: sustained fire causes overheating, producing visible white smoke
• Reduced or removed muzzle flash with immediate updates upon attachment/removal
• Oil filters function as disposable improvised suppressors for compatible pistols and rifles
• Blocks incompatible muzzle attachments

• Characters must find and read specific magazines to learn crafting and repair recipes
• Deadly Silence : teaches suppressor crafting, including improvised oil filters
• Silence Under Control : teaches repair recipes for professional suppressors (oil filters remain disposable)

Sandbox Options: Configurable settings for durability, crafting, loot rarity, magazine rarity, revolver support, suppressed volume per weapon class, and Guns of Marz integration.

Installation & Compatibility:

The mod consists of three modules. The Core module is always required.

• Vanilla firearms only: Enable Core + Vanilla
• Guns of Marz only: Enable Core + Guns of Marz
• Both: Enable Core + Vanilla + Guns of Marz

Multiplayer is supported, including correct compatibility checks, attachment syncing, and muzzle flash updates.
