Mod «Walkman & Car Radio - Standalone Music Player» for Project Zomboid

This mod adds a standalone cassette player and car radio system to Project Zomboid. It allows characters to listen to music via Walkmans or vehicle stereos, which actively reduces boredom and sadness levels.

Music playback is immersive: Walkmans are silent to others, while car radios emit sound up to 40 meters, potentially attracting zombies. The system supports custom mixtapes with an auto-skip feature, allowing players to combine multiple tracks into a single item for easier inventory management.

Tapes and players spawn naturally in relevant locations such as bedrooms and music stores. The mod includes a customizable UI for the car radio dashboard and offers sandbox options to control spawn rates and volume. Note that this mod provides the playback system only; separate music addon mods are required to add actual audio tracks.
