Mod «NeatUI Framework [B42]» for Project Zomboid

NeatUI Framework is a lightweight shared UI library for Project Zomboid Build 42. It provides reusable UI helpers, widgets, layout tools, rendering utilities, and styling support to help dependent mods maintain cleaner and more consistent interfaces. The framework includes compatibility helpers for UI changes across different Build 42 versions (42.0.2 to 42.20.x) and reduces code duplication between related mods.

This mod does not add gameplay features on its own; visible effects depend on the mods that utilize it. It is intended for Single Player, Multiplayer Host, and Dedicated Server setups.

Installation and Usage:

• Enable NeatUI Framework only if another mod lists it as a requirement
• Load NeatUI Framework before any mod that depends on it
• For Multiplayer/Dedicated Servers, ensure the mod is added to both the Mods list (NeatUI_Framework) and the Steam Workshop list (3508537032) in the server config
• Verify that host/server and clients have the same updated Workshop files

Linux Dedicated Server Compatibility:

Recent versions include cleanup to improve compatibility with Linux dedicated servers using DoLuaChecksum=true . Lua file paths and line endings have been normalized to avoid checksum issues on case-sensitive servers. Users may be able to re-enable Lua checksum validation after updating.
