Mod «Clean HotBar [B42]» for Project Zomboid

This mod enhances the Project Zomboid Build 42 hotbar and hand-equipped UI by providing clearer item-status information, cleaner visuals, optional tooltips, scaling controls, and a built-in slot reordering system. The interface displays useful information at a glance without creating visual clutter.

Hotbar Status Information:

• Overall condition: indicated by slot background color
• Weapon head condition and sharpness: combined into a single bar for applicable weapons (e.g., axes)
• Ammo counter: displays loaded ammunition for firearms
• Toggleable items: clear ON/OFF indicators for flashlights and other activatable items
• Liquid contents: color-coded bars identify container contents

Visual Feedback:

• Durability shake: item shakes briefly when condition decreases
• Condition flash: status values flash when durability is lost
• Liquid drain animation: provides smooth feedback during consumption
• Weapon condition warning: optional alert when equipped weapon loses durability

Customizable Settings: Accessed via the button with three horizontal lines next to the hotbar. Settings are client-side, allowing independent configuration for each player.

Compatibility Notes:

• Compatible with CleanUI

• If using QoL Compendium, disable its «Change quick access bar order» option to avoid conflicts
• Place near the bottom of the mod load order for best results

Installation: Works on Build 42 only. Enable via Main Menu > Load > select save > More… > Choose Mods. For multiplayer servers, ensure Mods=CleanHotBar and WorkshopItems are configured in server settings, then restart the server.
