Mod «Share Annotations» for Project Zomboid

This mod enables players to share map annotations with others in a lore-friendly manner using any piece of paper and a pen. It is compatible with Project Zomboid Build 41.78.16+ and Build 42.2.0+, supporting both solo and multiplayer modes.

• Write down annotations on paper to share with other players
• Trade and store annotated papers as regular inventory items
• Memorize Annotated Maps to transfer data to your own map
• Select specific annotation sets to display on the map
• Forget learned annotations when necessary
• Option to loot fully annotated maps from player corpses

Compatibility:

• Compatible with «Draw On Map» (see technical note below)
• Compatible with «Map Symbol Size Slider»

Technical Note regarding «Draw On Map»: Using «Draw On Map» can generate thousands of dot annotations, potentially exceeding the 2MB save limit for player objects. If this limit is reached, a red box error will appear, preventing the game from saving. To resolve this, drop, store, or delete the oversized map item after memorizing its annotations.
