Mod «[B42] MG_Tire/Battery Charging | 轮胎收纳＋电池充电» for Project Zomboid

This mod adds functional garage furniture to Project Zomboid Build 42, featuring a Tire Rack and a Multi-Battery Charging Workbench. Both items include custom UIs, visible stored items, progression requirements, and power logic.

Tire Rack

• Build Menu: Building → Welding
• Unlock: Read My Garage: Professional Storage + Welding Level 4
• Materials: Steel Rod ×6, Small Steel Sheet ×2, Nuts and Bolts ×1, Welding Rods (4 uses), Welding Torch (8 uses), Welder Mask ×1
• Dedicated tire storage with tires displayed directly on the rack in 3D.
• Custom slot UI; cannot be moved or dismantled while tires are stored.
• Capacity Configuration: Configurable via Sandbox settings or server files. Default is 12 tires per half rack (24 full). Tiers range from 4 to 8 tires per tier.

Multi-Battery Charging Workbench

• Build Menu: Building → Electrical
• Unlock: Read My Garage: Professional Storage + Carpentry Level 2 + Electrical Level 3
• Materials: Plank ×4, Nails ×4, Electrical Wire ×2
• Tools: Screwdriver-class tool ×1 + Hammer-class tool ×1 (required, not consumed)
• Features 1 Car Battery Charger slot, 4 Car Battery slots, and 4 Small Battery slots.
• Charge batteries individually or all at once via a manual Connect/Disconnect Power switch.
• Uses city power when available and generator power after shutoff. Charging pauses without power and resumes when power returns.
• Supports Standard, Commercial, and Performance car-battery categories, as well as small battery recharging.
• Cannot be moved or dismantled while items are stored.

The magazine My Garage: Professional Storage teaches both recipes. Reading it is mandatory, along with meeting the required skill levels. The magazine spawns in procedural locations similar to the vanilla generator magazine but with 1.5× relative loot weight.
