Mod «Electrify Radios» for Project Zomboid
This mod allows players to rewire battery-powered radios to run on mains or generator power, and revert them back to battery power when portability is needed.
- Converts all 12 vanilla Walkie Talkies, Radios, and HAM Radios to mains power.
- Mains-powered converted radios require a running generator or active power grid to function and no longer have a battery case.
- Note: Man-Pack Radio and CD Player are not supported.
Crafting Recipes:
Convert to Mains Power:
- Needs: Battery Radio, Electric Wire, Screwdriver, Blowtorch (uses 1 charge).
- Result: Mains-powered radio. Any inserted battery is safely returned.
Revert to Battery Power:
- Needs: Mains Radio, 1 Full Battery, Screwdriver, Blowtorch (uses 1 charge).
- Result: Battery-powered radio. You get your electric wire back.
Additional Details:
- Sandbox Options: Allows selection of the required Electrical skill level to convert radios. Standard is Electrical 3.
- Crafting: Can be crafted anywhere. No skill books required.
- Languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Turkish, Chinese.
- Multiplayer: Fully compatible (vanilla-style crafting).
- Game Version: Build 42.20 and up
