Mod «Gurney Transport: Wheel Them Out» for Project Zomboid

This mod introduces functional hospital gurneys to Project Zomboid, allowing players to transport multiple corpses efficiently. Instead of dragging bodies individually, characters can load up to five corpses onto a gurney and push it across the map.

• Load up to five bodies by dragging them over or using the «Load Nearby Corpses» option to fetch all bodies within 15 tiles.
• Push the gurney, which rolls in front of the character and turns as they walk. Pushing a full load is tiring but less strenuous than dragging.
• Place the gurney with a furniture-style preview; press R to rotate.
• Unload all contents at once into a grave, out of a window, or onto a selected tile.

If the character releases the gurney for any reason (e.g., grabbing a body, drawing a weapon, climbing, or tripping), the gurney remains parked in its current location with its load intact. Graves will accept only the number of bodies that fit, leaving the rest on the gurney. Bodies are transported in body bags and appear as ordinary corpses upon unloading. The mod works with every hospital gurney on the map, including those that have been moved.

Sandbox options are available to configure the fatigue level associated with pushing and to determine whether other items can be transported alongside corpses (enabled by default).

The mod is compatible with Build 42.20+ and is designed for single-player use. It is written in pure Lua with no dependencies and is safe to add mid-save. Players should park any gurney they are pushing before removing the mod to prevent losing the gurney and its contents.
