Mod «I Am Bruce Lee Now» for Project Zomboid
This mod introduces a martial arts combat system centered around the legendary Bruce Lee Handwraps. Players can unlock three randomized empty-hand attacks that scale in power with experience. The handwraps function as wearable clothing and remain visible even when a primary weapon is equipped; unequipping the weapon allows the player to use martial arts attacks.
Combat mechanics adhere to vanilla rules, meaning attacks are affected by Strength, pain, exhaustion, panic, and other status effects. Endurance costs apply during combat, causing fatigue. Bloody handwraps can be washed like ordinary clothing items.
Features:
- Three randomized empty-hand attacks
- Ability to attack while holding an item in the secondary slot (e.g., bag, flashlight)
- Power increases with skill experience
- Compatible with Multi-Hit settings (recommended for optimal gameplay)
- Handwraps persist when primary weapons are equipped
Finding the Handwraps:
The Bruce Lee Handwraps do not spawn naturally in unexplored areas of existing saves. They are typically found in police stations, as they were confiscated due to their exceptional quality. For multiplayer servers with extensively explored maps, server administrators may need to manually spawn and place the handwraps to ensure accessibility.
Sandbox Options:
- Crafting Recipe: Enables crafting of Legendary Bruce Lee Handwraps. Requires finding a specific magazine first, along with various crafting ingredients and a high Tailoring level.
- Muscle Fatigue: Adds a fatigue cost to martial arts attacks for balance. Note: The specific muscle fatigue mechanic is currently pending implementation, but standard endurance costs remain active.
Technical Information:
- Requires Project Zomboid Build 42.20+
- Workshop ID: 3791279212
- Mod ID: IAmBruceLeeNow
