Mod «JB's Fireflies - B41 and B42 + MP» for Project Zomboid

This mod adds ambient fireflies to Project Zomboid, compatible with Build 41 and Build 42.12+. Fireflies appear during summer nights, with spawn rates influenced by weather conditions and time of year.

• Fireflies prefer warmer weather and avoid rain
• Spawn locations prioritize shorelines, trees, and grass over open water or pavement
• Brightness decreases in lit areas
• Fireflies avoid a small area around the player

The mod includes sandbox options to customize spawning behavior:

• Spawn frequency (ticks)
• Minimum and maximum spawn amount per tick
• Maximum rendered fireflies on screen
• Spawn radius around the player
• Oversampling iterations for spawn location
• Seasonal fade-in/fade-out duration (days)
• Start and end days of the firefly season
• Option to hide fireflies outside the player's view

Note: «Day» is calculated assuming 30 days per month (e.g., June 15th = 165).
