Mod «SMB Tattoo» for Project Zomboid

SMB Tattoo integrates persistent tattoos into Project Zomboid Build 42, ensuring ink remains visible on characters through all states, including injury, bandaging, death, reanimation, and corpse carrying. Tattoos are rendered beneath dirt, blood, wounds, and clothing.

The mod includes a character creation selector that allows players to choose tattoos by body region, layer multiple designs, and preview placements on Vanilla male/female and optional Tomb bodies. Twenty-six original SIMBAproduz tattoos are included.

Creator Tools:

• Built-in SMB Tattoo Studio (Options > SMB Tattoo Studio) allows creators to build tattoo packs without coding.
• Imports transparent PNGs and automatically converts solid black to charcoal-style ink while preserving colored artwork.
• Provides controls for rotating the 3D body, moving tattoos, zooming, and adjusting scale/rotation via sliders or mouse inputs.
• Supports multi-piece tattoos and separate placement configurations for Vanilla and Tomb body types.
• Exports complete Workshop-ready folders with metadata, textures, and icons to the local Workshop directory.

Installation:

• Requires SMB Runtime and SMB Tattoo.
• Complete the one-time Runtime setup via its INSTALL.html guide.
• Enable both mods in the launcher and restart the game.
• Server and clients must have compatible versions; dedicated servers require Runtime server setup.

Compatibility:

• Designed for Project Zomboid Build 42.19.
• Not compatible with Build 41.
• Addons created with the Studio must list SMB Tattoo as a required item on Steam.
