Mod «Customizable Metal Weight (B42)» for Project Zomboid

Reduces the weight of all metal items and components by a customizable amount. The level of reduction is adjustable via sandbox settings, with a default reduction of 50%.

This mod affects a wide range of items, from basic materials such as metal sheets, bars, chunks, scrap, and ingots to crafted items like spears, forged tools, and jewelry. For items that are only partially made of metal, the weight reduction applies specifically to the metal component.

• Barbell : Weight reduced by half (e.g., 6 becomes 3).
• Sledgehammer Head : Weight reduced by half (e.g., 6 becomes 3).
• Bucket of Plaster : Only the metal bucket's weight is reduced (e.g., total weight 10 minus half the bucket weight 1 equals 9.5).

The mod uses Lua to modify item weight properties, ensuring compatibility with future game updates. It is fully compatible with both singleplayer and multiplayer modes and can be added or removed mid-game without affecting save files.

Sandbox Settings:

• Weight modifier: A numeric value determining the weight multiplier. A value of 0.5 halves the weight, while 2 doubles it. The default is 0.5.
