09:09
Customizable Wood Weight (B42)

This mod reduces the weight of wooden items and materials by a customizable percentage, adjustable via sandbox settings. The default reduction is 50%.

Affected items include basic materials such as logs, planks, branches, and firewood, as well as crafted items like spears, hammers, brooms, carved items, wooden molds, and any item with a wooden handle. For partially wooden items, the weight reduction applies only to the wooden component.

  • Log: Weight reduced by 50%
  • Baseball Bat With Nails: Weight reduced by 50%
  • Complex items (e.g., Baseball Bat With Sawblade): Calculation adjusts for non-wooden components

Note that modifying item weight affects burning time, as it is calculated based on weight. This mod uses Lua to modify item properties, ensuring compatibility with future updates.

Sandbox Settings:

  • Weight modifier: Numeric value determining weight reduction. A value of 0.5 halves the weight; 2 doubles it. Default is 0.5.

FAQ:

  • Works in both singleplayer and multiplayer
  • Can be added or removed mid-game without affecting save state
