Mod «The Fog [B42] [Alpha]» for Project Zomboid
This mod introduces a permanent, high-intensity fog that severely reduces visibility year-round, regardless of season or weather. It replaces all living vanilla wildlife with over 38 species of hostile undead «skeleton animals,» individually balanced by size and toughness.
- Permanent Fog: Locked to maximum intensity
- Undead Wildlife: Hostile skeleton animals replace all living creatures
- Zombie Adjustments: Sight and Hearing forced to Poor, Memory to Short on new games; Zombie Toughness set to Tough
- No Minimap: Forced off regardless of sandbox settings
- Blank World Map: Does not auto-reveal terrain; includes new hand-drawing tools (freehand pen, click-drag lines)
- The Fog Spawn: Merged spawn location pooling all vanilla town spawn points
- Fog Exposure Sickness: Prolonged outdoor exposure causes mild fever; vanilla masks provide protection scaled by quality
Recommended Sandbox Settings:
- Zombie Toughness: Tough
- Zombie Count: Low
- Zombie Sight, Hearing & Memory: Forced to lowest settings unless disabled in mod options
Gameplay Tips:
- Craft a bandana from rags early for basic protection against fog sickness
- Gas masks with working filters provide full protection
