Mod «Plysken Underground Revolution» for Project Zomboid

This mod introduces a manual underground bunker construction system for Project Zomboid. Players can excavate functional interior spaces by digging shafts, shoring up walls, and building ladders and trapdoors. Excavated rooms provide stable temperatures and protection from zombies. The mod is designed exclusively for single-player use and has no multiplayer support.

Core Mechanics:

• Bunker Worksite Bench: A placeable anchor (Carpentry 3) required for all construction; actions are limited to a configurable radius around the bench.
• Excavation: Digging requires clearing surface obstacles and using tools like shovels or pickaxes. Soil is removed in passes and must be manually hauled in sacks.
• Expansion: After sinking an initial shaft and building a ladder, players can expand horizontally by digging earth walls from below.
• Access: Trapdoors can be built, locked, and unlocked. An open trapdoor functions as a hazard with no safety rail.
• Construction Rules: Walls can only be built in excavated space, not on solid earth. A 6x6 excavation is required to build a fully walled 5x5 room.

Sandbox Options:

Nineteen configurable settings under the PUR page allow adjustment of digging speed, endurance costs, hauling capacity, worksite radius, and underground temperature. Note that sandbox settings are locked upon world creation; existing saves will retain default values.

Requirements:

• Requires Project Zomboid Build 42.20 or newer
• Single-player only; not compatible with dedicated servers or co-op
• No external mod dependencies required
