Mod «3D Equipment Lockers» for Project Zomboid

This mod transforms clothing and armor storage into functional 3D displays, where every stored item appears as its actual model on the shelf. It requires the «3D Gun Racks» mod to function.

Included Furniture:

• Wood Equipment Rack: 1x1 open rack with 12 slots (one full outfit plus sidearm and long gun)
• Metal Equipment Rack: Pressed steel version of the wood rack
• Wood Equipment Locker: 1x2 locker with two independent bays (one full set in each)
• Metal Equipment Locker: Pressed steel version of the wood locker
• Armory Equipment Rack: Large 1x2 steel rack holding 6 groups of 8 categories
• Armor Rack: 1x2 riot rack with 4 sections (one full set of protective gear in each)

Features:

• Right-click empty slot to stow worn items; right-click filled slot to equip
• Drag items between eligible slots to arrange the display
• «Equip» and «Store» buttons move a whole outfit in a single press
• Automatic filling of free slots when transferring eligible clothing to main storage
• Separate Storage Drawer for each piece that accepts any other items
• Persistent slots and displayed items through save/load cycles
• Fully synchronized in single-player and multiplayer
• Lockers must be emptied before pickup

Layouts:

• Bays (for individuals): Rack holds 12 slots in one bay (complete kit for one survivor); locker has two bays
• Pools (for groups): Armory Equipment Rack pools 6 items across 8 categories into one window
• Dedicated Armor Layout: Armor Rack built around protective gear with four sections

Compatibility & Notes:

• Items are classified using standard body-location properties; model replacements and conventionally authored new clothing work automatically
• Items without a valid world model are refused
• Known issue with elbow and knee pads due to shared body location in game data
• Safe to add mid-save; not recommended to remove mid-save without clearing existing lockers first
• Localized in twelve languages for build menu, inventory, and container headers
